Day 4 - (2nd day) VLCD

Weigh-in: 151.8
Whoo hoo, I'm losing finally. Should be back to my beginning weight by tomorrow - hopefully.

Breakfast: Water

Lunch: Broiled Scallops (102g - yeah I cheated a little. I didn't feel like trying to shave off 2 grams from one of my scallops.)
Steamed Asparagus (8.9 oz.)

After lunch snack: Grapefruit (7.9 oz.)

Dinner: Grilled chicken (99g) - I didn't know how this was going to taste since I wasn't able to spray my countertop grill with any non-stick spray. However, the lemon juice definitely helped with the flavor as well as the sticking.
Steamed Cabbage (8 oz.)

After dinner snack: I have enough calories left for 9 oz. of strawberries so that will be my snack later tonight.

I had a cont. ed. class this morning from 9-12:30. My intentions were to take my grapefruit so that I wouldn't be hungry before I got home for lunch. Well, I walked out & left the grapefruit. Thank God I wasn't starving.

I definitely think this diet is more mental than anything. Though people gasp when they hear 500 calories, it really is enough food.

Of course I'm hoping that the extra 2 grams won't make a big difference with my progress. I've added in the additional calories to make sure I remain under 500 in spite of.
