Today's weigh-in: 141.6
I've been MIA simply because I've been failing this diet miserably. As you know on Day 23, I got greedy since the almonds from Day 22 didn't cause me to gain & I had cashews. And on Day 24, I was up well over a pound. By Day 25, I had gained over 2 pounds from the nuts. So for Day 25, I decided to do the 6 apples.
After about 3 apples I had to go to Costco to buy candy for my 13 year old's class. And lo & behold there were some raw, unsalted mixed nuts on the same aisle. And of course I bought them. So yesterday I had 3 apples & God only knows how many handfuls of the nuts. However, I did end up losing 0.6 pound.
So far today, I won't lie, I've had a few handfuls of nuts. Since I had been munching on nuts, I skipped the meat at lunch & had about 7 oz of steamed cabbage.
For dinner I had about 5 oz ground beef with about 5.5 oz of tomatoes in chili. This is all I will eat for the day. I GOTTA GET BACK ON TRACK!
The only bright side is, I've been cheating with protein & not sugar or starch.
